Prevent traffic shaping on Azureus

by Amirul Ashraff 0 comments

To prevent Traffic Shaping in Azureus

1.Firstly go to Tools > Options > Connection > Transport EncryptionCheck require encrypted transport and choose RC4 in the minimum encryption

2.RC4 uses more CPU time than the plain encryption or no encryption. It is however harder to identify for traffic shaping devices. You can check your CPU Usage through the Windows Task Manager (Alt+Ctrl+Delete)

3.You can choose to tick the Allow non-encrypted outgoing connections if encrypted connection attempt fails box. This will ensure compatibility with clients that are not using encryption. You are now set.Remeber to use updated version of Azureus
